Sorted the way you walk the shop
The list groups itself into Produce, Bakery, Meat & Fish, Dairy, Pantry, Household, Frozen and Other. Mazí learns where your household files things: put oat milk under Dairy once, and next time it goes there by itself, on everyone's phone.
Add up to 20 categories of your own, each with a colour and an icon, and put them in the order of your usual shop. The order is shared, so the list reads the same for whoever does the shopping.
One list, every shop
Add the shops you use, like the supermarket, the market or the pharmacy, and give an item a shop when it only comes from there. Choose a shop and the list shows what to buy there, and anything you add goes to it. Items without a shop stay under Default, and All shows the lot.
The exact brand, not a guess
Take a photo, or pick one from your gallery, and it sits on the item, so whoever is at the shop buys the one you meant. Photos are kept in private storage that only your household can read.
Quick to add
Type a name and, if it matters, a quantity. As you type, Mazí suggests what your household has bought before, and your most-bought items wait in a row above the list, with the chosen shop's usual ones first. Add something that is already on the list and Mazí tells you, instead of adding it twice.
Ticked off together
Tap an item to tick it. It drops into Done with a dot in the colour of whoever ticked it, and the cart fills up as you go, so everyone at home can see how far along the shop is. Clear the done items when you are back.
From the meal plan to the list
A recipe's ingredients, or the whole week's from the meal planner, go onto the list in one tap. Items already on the list are merged rather than doubled, and quantities in the same unit add up: 500 g and 250 g make 750 g.
Questions
Can my partner and I share one shopping list?
Yes. Everyone in the household, up to eight people, sees and edits the same list on Android or iPhone, and every change shows up on the other phones straight away.
Can we keep separate lists for different shops?
Mazí keeps one list per household, and your shops are views of it. Choose a shop to see only what to buy there, or All to see everything.
Does it work offline?
No. Adding and ticking items needs an internet connection, which is what keeps everyone's list the same.
Does it scan barcodes or track prices?
No. Mazí has no barcode scanner and no prices.
